Are you a collector of garden tools too?

August 14th, 2008

Although “garden” isn’t quite the word to describe the land that’s around our place we find that we’ve a growing collection of various garden tools to look after it all.

Since it’s big and, largely, wild we need a trimmer. Well, when I say “a” trimmer in fact we’re incredibly hard on trimmers and have found that the bulk of them are complete rubbish. In fact, the only one that has lasted a sensible amount of time is ironically one that we figured wouldn’t last more than a matter of months and that’s the rechargeable Black & Decker trimmer. Whilst it might not look overlly robust in practice it’s seen out a number of more beefy looking versions that we’ve used over the last few years and is close to perfect for us with the only downside being that, in an ideal world, the battery would last longer.

We’d actually be sporting one of their chainsaws too but Wendy has vetoed that as she figures that we’d end up slicing an arm off :)
