As well as large animals being fairly expensive with not only veterinary fees and event charges and so on, there’s the not so insignificant matter of the cost of equestrian clothing for the riders too. If you’re into eventing that can get seriously expensive as, of course, you need to look your best along with the horse.
Still, who sits down and works out the cost of their hobbies?
