Constantly updating office furniture
In the good old days office furniture was really easy to buy: just buy a nice looking desk and a decent chair and you were set.
Nowadays, you need to take account of the needs of computers when looking at office furniture and even that’s not so simple as they don’t come in shapes that are as standard as they used to be. Even the cooling aspect is changing and there’s no so much of a need for open backs to the computer cabinet these days although you still can’t seal them in.
Funnily enough, we’re almost back to the situation where a nice desk and chair will do as more people seem to be moving towards laptops these days and, of course, they don’t need all the cabling and housing that “desktop” computers do.
