Restocking the tool cupboard

One of the problems in doing a partial move is that we obviously had to leave a lot of stuff behind and that included a whole bunch of tools that we’d accumulated over the last five years or so.

Combine that with the need for some renovation work in our new home and it looks like we’ll be hitting the DIY shops fairly soon before the costs for various tradesmen start to get out of hand. Annoyingly, it’s the little things that didn’t make it onto the “must take” list that we find ourselves in need of. Things like the industrial clamps which are always useful but which didn’t seem essential when we were packing up.

The annoying thing is that we have pretty much all the tools that we need… it’s just that they’re in France and we’re in the UK!
