The Californian law blog

February 13th, 2008

It’s very easy for a business blog to degenerate into a series of posts that basically say “buy this now” and so it’s a pleasure to find one that pretty much goes to the other extreme.

Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney Blog | California Criminal Law Forum is the somewhat over keyword-stuffed moniker that it runs under but don’t let that put you off because this is a blog that’s packed with genuinely interesting snippets of Californian law. Sure, they want you to use their services, but they don’t talk about them at all: they just talk about the law and how it affects people.

The whole style is almost like a storyline for LA Law and it’s equally fascinating too.

What’s most interesting is that because it shows that these guysknow what they’re talking about and are really interested in the law and how it affects real people, it has, to me anyway, a much stronger “buy me” quality than it would do if they’d used the “in your face” style of business blog that’s more commonly seen.

In that they’re specialists in criminal law, I hope that I don’t find myself in need of their services but it’s a great read even without that. Keep it up guys!
