What if a diet pill really worked but had side-effects?

Of course, they all have side-effects of some sort and the question is really whether or not the side-effects are something that you can live with.

Take the adipex diet pill for example. It’s an appetite suppressant that’s been available since way back in the 1950′s which implies that it’s pretty safe. Moreover it’s one that actually does work albeit only for a while after which it can actually increase your weight (not such a great side-effect for a diet pill!). However, other side-effects include shortness of breath after mild exertion, chest pain, headaches, blurred vision and a whole bunch of generally none too desireable effects.

The snag is that some people will experience side-effects from just about anything and with a pill that’s been available for a long time, the number of side-effects is almost certain to be long. Besides, those side-effects may never affect you.
