Why is it that nearly everyone waits too long to go to marriage counselling?

Of course, it’s because nobody wants to really admit that there’s something wrong with their relationship which they can’t fix by themselves.

However, marriage counseling doesn’t need to be like that really. Like most things, it’s best to try and fix things when the problem is small rather than wait until it becomes a major issue and much harder to sort out a solution. Catch a problem early and you’ll often find it a breeze to sort out.

Which “just” leaves the hardest part of all and that’s admiting to yourselves that there might be a problem.
